All Gymnasts of Heolddu Gymnastics Club are expected to follow this code of Conduct
Gymnasts are expected to behave and listen to the coaches at all times both in the gym and at competitions.
Gymnasts must be respective to the coaches, officials and other gymnasts.
Gymnasts must encourage and support each other. Always be kind and polite.
Gymnasts must be friendly and welcoming, especially to new members
Gymnasts must be supportive and offer comfort to other gymnasts when needed. Always use kind words and actions. Bad language or behaviour and unkind words are not allowed.
Gymnasts should work hard, have fun, play fairly and enjoy gymnastics
Gymnasts should strive to be a fair winner and a good loser – everyone loses sometimes.
Gymnasts must stay with their coach at the end of a session until collected by their parent or carer.
Gymnasts must wear suitable clothes, tie long hair back and not wear jewellery in the gym.
Gymnasts must look after all equipment and stay off the equipment until the session starts.
Gymnasts must not climb on, or use, any equipment unless given permission by their coach.
Gymnasts must tell the coach if they are unwell or suffering from an injury
Gymnasts must ask their coach for permission before leaving the gym for any reason.
Gymnasts must tell someone if anyone makes them feel unhappy.
Gymnasts must not get involved in any kind of bullying
Gymnasts must not use social media in a way which would make anyone upset or very sad
Gymnasts must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all gymnasts, coaches and volunteers
Gymnasts must not take photos of gymnasts within the gym without the express permission of Heolddu Gymnastics.
